Fan Favorites that Fly Off the Shelves
I clearly remember the day we ran out of Affirmations & Actions card sets.
We were smack dab in the middle of Christmas sales, when the stunning realization kicked in. We're oversold. We just stared at each while a stack of packing slips taunted us from the desk. Merriment was replaced by panic while we tore through storage and sent a flurry of emails to our stockists, and then finally to customers (who were ALL amazing!).
Affirmations & Actions is a newer product that caught on quick. And it's no surprise. The cards are gorgeous; vivid color illustrations featuring slightly matured Emotional Warriors in wondrous places, positive affirmations on each side, and action items to help both connect to and process feelings. This set is popular with all ages! I know plenty of adults, myself included, who enjoy this card set.
The new stock is the same card deck beloved throughout New Zealand and Australia, but we've update the box and card holder. The box is slimmer and a touch longer to make room for a wooden slot card holder. I haven't tried it yet, but I've thought about personalizing my card holder.
Also back in stock is the Kids Mini Journal in both cover designs: Let Your Light Shine in yellow and Be True, Be You in green. This restock was a lot less dramatic as these hot tickets were sold out when we arrived on the scene. Once we realized how much schools like using these for their primary students, we knew we had to revisit this cheery pair.
The mini journal is a great alternative to the Best Selling Awesome Ends In Me kids gratitude journal. There's a place for the date, a "fill-in-the-face" for a mood check, happiness scale, and space to list 3 reflections of gratitude. There are a few breaks for tips and corresponding exercises, coloring pages, and a trimmed down About Me page.
Coming in at a slightly smaller size than it's parent book, the soft cover 5x7 journal is great for kids who may need low stimulation pages or for the child who has already completed Awesome Ends In Me and wants to continue with more of a "blank" journal in a similar format.
Last, but certainly not least, we welcomed back to the stock room a journal that schools can't get enough of - Create Your Own Sunshine.
Ideal for teens 12 - 18 years old, these guided gratitude journals are a fantastic tool for all those adults-becoming to find ways to handle social media stress, help manage overwhelm, and create a growth mindset. The reflection pages feature a happiness scale, healthy habit check-ins, meditations and breathing exercises, and affirmations.
The teen version of our guided gratitude and resilience journals has the same science-backed features as the kids and adult options, but with language more suited for the age group and in playful fonts. There are also a few coloring breaks in there, too. Because art is good for everyone.
We hear so much positive feedback from parents after their children start a journaling practice. I'd love to hear from you if you've noticed the shift after starting a journaling and/or mindset practice. It's a beautiful habit with helpful benefits that can last a lifetime.
Like, say a mistake begins unfolding before your eyes. Running out of popular products during the high season, perhaps? lol. These gratitude and resilient tools don't prevent problems from showing up, but they DO help you get through them.
Wherever you are on your mindset journey, I wish you all the best.
Sarah
